Time ticks away the light into the night
Unfinished thoughts brighten the open sky
For you and I to dwell in time finite
Till the morning sun exposes our lie
When weightless words float asleep in the air
And beliefs are heavier than reason
Each new thought bonds with the old in coheir
On the fringe of life, the edge of treason
We lie to our selves until the facts fade
And our burdens flow down The Achreron
Both Phorcys and Brizo remain unswayed
While in the dark waters circles a swan
We continue to reason amidst chaos
With nothing but time and will as pathos
