By the Lake

I shot these photos during a week of unusually high temperatures in Mississauga, Canada, in mid-April. Being by the waterside is always soothing. Most trees didn’t have leaves at the time. The barren complexity of the branches makes for an intriguing visual. The trees appear lifeless, making me wonder how the landscape will change once the leaves come in, signalling rebirth.
